There are many different types of arcanists in League of Legends, but there are some that are better than others. Here is a list of the best arcanist skins in the game.

  1. Ahri, The Mistress of Shadows Ahri is a powerful and versatile arcanist who can use her shadows to cloak herself or her allies, granting them increased movement speed and survivability. She also has a unique ability that summons an ally to help her fight, which can be very helpful if she needs to escape quickly.
  2. Jhin, The Madman of the Jungle Jhin is an incredibly versatile and powerful arcanist who can use his mad skills to deal massive damage and heal his allies quickly. He also has a unique ability that allows him to teleport to any location in the map, making him very versatile for escaping or fighting from positions high up on the map.
  3. Vayne, The Huntress of Valoran Vayne is one of the most powerful and versatile arcanists in League of Legends, using her abilities to deal massive damage and heal her allies quickly. She also has a unique ability that allows her to steal health from enemies, which can be very useful if she needs to take down large numbers of enemies at once.

Our childhoods are also bursting with lovable magical characters; Harry Potter, Gandalf, Sabrina, Merlin, Kiki, to name a few. Yep. Just a few.

So why not live out your dreams of being a sorcerer in the Rift?

Arcanist skins give champions witchy glow ups, and they’re sure to cast a spell over your heart.

And hey, if you do invest in an Arcanist skin and show off your dedication to magic, maybe you’ll finally receive a letter from Hogwarts…

6. Spellthief Lux

Released: October 19th, 2010 Price: 750 RP

Lux might have a reputation for lighting up the hearts of players around the globe, but Spellthief Lux is… not exactly a “glowing” skin.

The design is just, well, bland.

The outfit is generic, the color palette largely consists of dreary browns, and the staff honestly looks worse than her base model’s staff.

With that said, the skin is relatively cheap and it does add a mysterious flair to Lux’s character.

The splash art also looks absolutely gorgeous and paints a scene of a sorceress forced into hiding – which is accurate to Lux’s backstory, if you’re not familiar with League’s ever-expanding lore.

5. Arcanist Shaco

Released: July 9th, 2020 Price: 1350 RP

Arcanist Shaco is one of Shaco’s most polished skins and it looks absolutely killer.

Instead of the classic, awkward-looking red outfit, Shaco now rocks a sinister suit fit for a villain.

His daggers have also been given a literal glow up; fiery energy courses throughout them, and the serrated edges look sharp enough to slice through even the tankiest of enemies.

Plus, the animations and particle effects feel smooth and are just as dark and sinister as Shaco’s personality.

What really wins me over though is the character model’s face design.

Satanic eyes, abyss-hued lips, razor sharp teeth – it’s honestly the thing of nightmares. It genuinely makes base Shaco look like an angel.

Obviously though, there’s a reason why I haven’t put this skin higher up on this list.

I don’t really get an Arcanist vibe from it, and it’s also a bit too similar to “Asylum Shaco” for my liking.

4. Master Arcanist Ziggs

Released: May 6th, 2015 Price: 1350 RP

Master Arcanist Ziggs is a fairly dated skin, and it’s certainly not the flashiest or most unique, but I can’t help but put it at the No.4 spot.

It just suits Ziggs so insanely well; every aspect of it honors his magical, bombs-galore playstyle.

There’s even heaps of references to actual AP items in League.

He carries around an Amplifying Tome and throws out a bag containing Rylai’s scepter. Plus, his wacky wizard hat was clearly designed with Rabadon’s Deathcap in mind.

While the recall is a bit dull, the animations are slick, smooth, and bursting with color.

Each ability has a magical vibe too, with your ult feeling like a more ethereal version of Megumin’s explosion.

3. Arcanist Zoe

Released: July 9th, 2020 Price: 1350 RP

This skin kind of makes me feel like Zoe binge-watched Little Witch Academia and decided to create her own witchy cosplay.

And while this cute aesthetic won’t please everyone, I’m here for it.

She truly looks like a sorceress bursting with optimism for the world around her.

The outfit is brimming with sweet details, her hair has been cleverly transformed into a glowing, pink wizard hat, and her animations are extra sparkly.

Her E and R abilities are also super creative and playful. You get to throw literal portions at your enemies and teleport via a grimoire.

Oh, and the recall, where she battles it out with her magical study book, is downright hilarious.

2. Arcanist Zoe Prestige Edition

Released: July 9th, 2020 Price: Prestige Exclusive

Now, I’m a total fan of the OG skin.

But even I have to admit the Prestige Edition is superior – all the elements are taken up a notch and given some extra finesse and sparkles.

The new gold and white color palette also brings out Zoe’s inner “shine,” and the animations are bold, colorful, and utterly magical.

The Prestige Edition even gives her an adorable pair of feathered wings (brooms are overrated anyway).

And of course, the splash art is dropdead gorgeous.

1. Arcanist Kog’Maw

Released: July 9th, 2020 Price: 1350 RP

It would be an injustice to not give Arcanist Kog’Maw the top spot.

I mean, how can I say no to those adorable, puppy-like eyes?

It’s cuteness overload.

Jokes (and cuteness) aside, Arcanist Kog’Maw offers a unique take on the sorcerer theme, and it definitely pays off.

It transforms Kog’Maw into a magical, mystical creature that could easily be a magician’s trusty sidekick.

While the design is simple, the colors work insanely well and there’s plenty of great touches, from the Amplifying Tome on Kog’s back to the sigil marking on his head.

The animations also look amazing and have great visual clarity, allowing you to effortlessly kite your opponents while you blep them to death.

What really makes this skin top tier though is the recall.

It’s equal parts hilarious and cute. You even get insight into Kog’Maw’s dreams (which, unsurprisingly, are all about nomming on things).

Oh, and if you’re not vibing the purple color palette? There’s plenty of fun chromas to try out.
