When I first met Arlo, he was a homeless dog living on the streets of New York City. He had been abandoned by his previous family and was living in a trash can on the corner of Second Avenue and West 23rd Street. Arlo was so sad and lonely that he would often sit on the curb, looking at the people walking by. One day, I saw him sitting there and decided to take him home with me. We started out by taking care of him like our own personal pet. We would feed him, play with him, and give him love and attention. But eventually we realized that Arlo needed more than just our love and care. He needed a home, a family, and a place to call his own. So we decided to adopt Arlo into our lives. We were so excited to have him in our lives – but we quickly realized that adopting an animal is not as easy as it seems! We had to work hard every day to make sure that Arlo felt comfortable being around humans again. And even though it was sometimes difficult, we loved every minute of it! Nowadays, Arlo is one of the most popular dogs in our house – he loves spending time with us both indoors and outdoors! He’s always up for playing fetch or going for walks together (he’s even good at leading!). And although he still has some quirks (like being very curious), we’re happy to have him back into our lives – as friends first, then potential family members second!
Arlo is also one of the bachelors in Portia that you can marry.

Throughout the game, you will constantly be upgrading and swapping weapons. Try to remember not to sell them when you’re done – because they can be given to Arlo!

Arlo’s relationship perks are some of the best in the game. He will give you a better chance during attack encounters and more loot from commissions.
Arlo’s Relationship perks at each level are:
Buddy: You will receive +5 Attack Points
Friend: You will receive +10 Attack Points
Lover: You will receive an extra 10% in Critical Chance
Husband:
More loot will be revied when completing Civil Corps commissions 50% bonus on all materials commissioned by Civil Corps
Missions
As Arlo is deeply invested in his work for The Civil Corps, much of his missions involve helping him keep Portia safe.
If you’re wanting to romance Arlo, you’ll have to decide if his relationship with Nora can continue. Things may get a bit spicy!

The Training Dummy in the Civil Corps HQ was broken due to Arlo’s constant use. He asks that you make him a stronger one. The Training Dummy’s diagram is available at the Research Center.
A Strong Man’s Adventure
Arlo invites you to join him on a mystery trip. Arlo will invite you to go on an adventure in the Eufaula Desert with him.
*This mission will be available after you start dating Arlo.
TIP: Finish the Portia Bridge before dating Arlo; otherwise, this task may be bugged or fail.
Exploring with Arlo
Only after marrying Arlo and gaining access to Starlight Island, this event triggers.
Grand Theft Pickaxe
According to Higgins, you stole his Bronze Pickaxe. How are you going to prove that you didn’t?
Grave Oddity
Strange sounds have been heard coming from the Graveyard late at night recently. Arlo intends to apprehend whoever is responsible for this

Nora confessed to Arlo recently. Arlo is looking for your opinion.
TIP: If you allow their relationship, a glitch may arise if you marry Arlo/Nora, where the two of them are still interested in each other
