If you are a family sharing user on the iPhone, there are a few things you can do to remove your child from the sharing process.
- Open the Sharing Preferences and select “Remove Child From Family Sharing.” This will take effect immediately and will prevent your child from being added to any future family sharing sessions.
- If you have multiple children in your family, open up Family Sharing and select “Remove All Children From Family Sharing.” This will remove all of your children from the sharing process.

Apple does not provide a way to stop sharing between devices. However, you can disable iCloud on your iPhone and iPad which will prevent any information from being shared between devices.

The age of a child can be changed on their Apple ID through the Family Sharing settings.
You can’t change the birth date for a child in Family Sharing. You’ll need to create a new account for them, or remove them from the family group.
